LuxuriaMusic Utilizes its Music
Expertise to Create Exciting New Music Mixes
SAN FRANCISCO and LOS ANGELES, Calif
(PRWEB) -- The hipsters at Internet radio station
LuxuriaMusic (http://www.luxuriamusic.com) announce the
release of the MP3 single “Fathers & Sons – LuxuriaMusic
Little Rat & Stumbo Mix” by LuxuriaMusic & Misty Roses. The
single is available as a free MP3 download at http://www.luxuriamusic.com.
LuxuriaMusic, best known for the innovative internet radio
format consisting of outré lounge and Latin jazz, breezy
swinging instrumentals and vocals, groovy 60's go-go and
70’s Bollywood soundtracks, quirky oddities, retro pop, surf
music and novelties of yesteryear, created a remix of
“Fathers & Sons” by Misty Roses (http://www.mistyroses.com)
– a London/NYC-based musical duo dedicated to the creation
of “glamorous easy listening music”.
“Eric (Bonerz - LuxuriaMusic co-program director) and I were
flattered that the Misty Roses wanted us to take a stab at a
remix. We had a kick doing it.” said LuxuriaMusic co-program
director Chuck Kelley. “As you can tell from what we
produced, we both have a low attention span musically. The
tune goes all over the place - first it's kind of loungey,
then it gets funky, then it sounds like video game music,
then it gets trippy and psychedelic. There's something for
everyone in that mix. The mix, just like the programming we
do on the station, is a musical smorgasbord of styles that
somehow sounds new once we're done with it. Even my 14 year
old Britney Spears-lovin' niece likes the song... I don’t
know if that's good or not, but I guess it means it at least
sounds commercial. Now, I'm just looking forward to doing
more of this kind of stuff. Bring it on!”
Chuck and Eric's remix just blew us away!" says Robert
Conroy, Misty Roses "chanteuse", and New York City-based
half of the project. "It's really and truly inspired. It
goes off on all these hilarious, brilliant little tangents,
and yet captures something really intrinsic to our song.
That's exactly what you hope for when ask someone to remix
something." The duo has just finished their LP, "Komodo
Dragons," which is set to feature remixes by the likes of
Ursula 1000, Lumen and Blue States. An early 2004 release is
planned; samples of the LP tracks and remixes can be savored

The MP3 single “Fathers & Sons – LuxuriaMusic Little Rat &
Stumbo Mix” is the first release in a series of LuxuriaMusic
projects. In 2004, LuxuriaMusic plans to expand its
LuxuriaMusic.com Internet radio programming, release a
number of CD/DVD projects and produce a DJ tour.
