(PRWEB) -- "Your Album!" - Despite the success of his recent
top 4 hit „E Cosi Com'E” (Captiol/EMI) the "Swiss Prince" or
Signorino TJ as he is affectionately known in his chocolate
loving homeland, is not content to rest on his creative
laurels - fuelled by encouragement from an ever growing army
of listeners, he is constantly exploring new and independent
ways to market his music - with the "Your Album" concept
music lovers can create a personalized CD from a selection
of over 40 songs taken from the catalogue of this fresh and
dynamic young artist.
In the history of music the mainstream and the underground
have always taken turns to dominate centre stage. Now
however, it's the turn of the cheeky little independent
artist to gatecrash proceedings by turning the music buyers
attention away from the musical Godzillas, and basking in
the warmth of the spotlight for a scene or three.
The song buying public can now take the idea of online music
stores like Rhapsody, Emusic and Apple iTunes to another
level by visiting www.SignorinoTJ.com and pre-listening to a
wide range of his songs. After selecting the tunes THEY want
included on the CD, THEIR unique and personalized album will
be shipped directly to any address on planet earth
(Intergalactic shipments are not available at this time.)
The service has been rigorously tested in Switzerland for
over 6 months now, and the idea has received generous praise
from representatives of the press and public on both sides
of the atlantic.
TJ says, "I've had so much bad luck in my career that by
early 2003 I found myself with lots of great but unreleased
recordings. I have always tried to find my own ways of
surviving in this cut throat business, and since I was lucky
enough to control all the publishing and copyrights of these
recordings, I could legally do something like "your album!".
most other artists couldn’t do it in the first place even if
they wanted to because they've already signed their soul to
the devil somewhere along the line.”
As yet none of TJ’s past albums have been released
internationally (only two singles on EMI and one on BMG)
however Signorino TJ has not been lazy at all. He has
performed in a variety of venues around the globe (including
Montreux Jazz Festival or the Paris club scene) and his
publishing company Royal Pop Publishing has a catalogue of
hundreds of original songs, testimony to the creativity of
this prolific artist. „I just let this massive musical
output of mine flood the place until there’s no way it can
be overseen.”
After the release of his first Japanese album "SuperSimpleSexySomething”
and the guerilla-pop project "OneManBoyBand” (BMG) earlier
this year, Signorino TJ has also had songs in the finals of
the International Songwriting Competition, the USA
Songwriting Competition and Eurovision Song Contest. At the
present moment he is back in the studio recording a new
latin-flavoured single due out in April on his own label.
Besides writing material for different major and independent
artists he is also working on his much anticipated first
solo album in three years.
